PixCell – IMAGES GALLERY MEMBERS DESIGN AND PARTICIPATE IN AN EVENT INVESTIGATING VIEWER RESPONSES TO AND INTERPRETATIONS OF VISUAL ART. Gallery artists will create individual art work utilizing four 8”x 8” canvases. The completed pieces will be mounted on the gallery walls prior to the opening. At the opening event, participating artists, cued by the sound of a bell rung at specified intervals, will select and respond to the work of one artist by writing or drawing on the walls around it. After several repeating rounds, guests will be encouraged to interact with the art and the artists through wall responses of their own.
